Soweto-born chef Wandile Mabaso obtained his culinary education in South Africa, trained in classical French cuisine in New York and currently specialises in contemporary French haute cuisine at Alain Ducasse’s two-Michelin-starred restaurant, Le Meurice, in Paris. Now he’s back to host a showcase dinner in Maboneng, with plans to disrupt the Jozi culinary scene going forward.
